Scott Stephenson has 35 years experience guiding businesses through changing times. His gift is his ability to quickly get to the meat of a problem, and help business owners arrive at a successful solution through insights that only come from a lifetime of study. Jeff Stone is IT Manager for Universal Accounting Center, responsible for all internet activity, including on-line enrollments. He and his team of talented web and database developers, graphic designers, copy writers and system admin staff continually improve Universal’s on-line and over-the-phone experience for Universal employees and students. Jeff earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology (BSIT). Jeff also has extensive sales and marketing and sales management experience that make him unique in the IT industry. He is also an accomplished performance magician and published magic philosopher and instructor. He carries his magic into his presentations. |
Scott McKinley is the Marketing Services Manager for Universal Accounting Center, and a primary presenter at Universal Client Generator small business seminars. He is the lead Marketing Coach for Universal students, coaching them through the process of developing and implementing their marketing plans, developing and refining their sales and marketing skills and attitudes of success, and planning and conducting successful business to business seminars. Scott has a broad background in sales and marketing and management, including retail, telephone marketing, and business development. His infectious enthusiasm and natural speaking talent makes him a favorite presenter at Universal Accounting events. |
William Brough earned his MBA in finance and accounting. He is the lead developer for Universal’s Professional Tax Preparer™ Program(PTP), as well as providing support and coaching to Universal PTP students. A committed entrepreneur, he owned and managed Laser Technologies in the Los Angeles-area for 12 years before doing project management as an independent contractor for the U.S. Department of Labor. He currently owns a growing tax and accounting practice in the Salt Lake City area. He is also an accomplished artist and musician, and an avid Beatles aficionado. |
Christine Petersen provides a feminine perspective as a senior member of the Enrollment Department at Universal Accounting, and as a small business owner and woman in business for more than 35 years. Christine has worked with hundreds of women to define their specific goals, identify their unique strengths, and create specific action plans to launch and grow their own accounting and tax practices. Christine is a member of The National Organization of Women and the Salt Lake City Chapter of Women in Business. She is an award winning public speaker. She is a Phenomenal Woman in business herself. |
David Sherwood demonstrates how the same characteristics of a good accountant can enhance the ability to build an accounting practice.
