Roger Knecht Attends NATP Conference

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (August 3, 2005) - Minneapolis was the host city for the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) 2005 National Conference, attended by Roger Knecht of Universal Accounting® in late July. The conference afforded tax professionals nationwide the opportunity to attend extensive training sessions on topics regarding individual, corporate and trust tax returns, as well as participating in forums pertaining to the tax system and government representation. Speakers and instructors from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and from around the country guided participants through the often-complicated issues of tax law and tax regulation as it applies to them and their clients, using various methods of instruction, hands-on practice and discussion groups. Sessions included such topics as Ethics, Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), Depreciation, Family Child Care, Interest Deductions, Shareholder & Partner Basis, Small Business Tax Planning, Taxation Issues for the Elderly and many more.

Knecht believes that belonging to NATP and attending events such as the National Conference helps him to maintain vitality and awareness of the tax issues and ever-changing regulations facing his clients today, as well as providing an opportunity to monitor changes in the tax system.
