Bookkeeping Course Approved by CBA

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (June 26, 2007) — The Canadian Bookkeepers Association (CBA) announced that they have accredited Universal Accounting®'s Professional Bookkeeper™ Program, recognizing the course as an approved educational tool for CBA members. The announcement comes after a thorough review by the association's education committee. CBA's board of directors made the announcement at the annual Gala Awards Dinner on June 21, 2007, in Ottawa, Canada.

"The education committee has reviewed several accounting and bookkeeping courses, and Universal 'got it' as far as what bookkeepers need to know," said Jacquie Johnston, director and member of the education committee.

Universal has been an affiliate member of CBA several months, and is excited to further develop their relationship with the association and its members. "We are so excited to work more closely with the CBA in promoting professional training and testing for the industry in Canada. We look forward to helping the CBA grow and promoting membership among our students in Canada," said Clay Neves, director of seminars for Universal.
