Universal Accounting® Tax Course Approved by Oregon

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (December 4, 2006) — Universal Accounting®'s Professional Tax Preparer™ program has received approval from the state of Oregon as a qualifying training program for individuals wishing to prepare income taxes. Universal Accounting® received approval from Oregon's State Board of Tax Practitioners. Oregon is one of two states requiring state approved tax courses for tax preparers.

The Professional Tax Preparer™ course trains individuals in tax preparation for individual and small business taxes. Oregon has approved 88 hours of the program as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. The Professional Tax Preparer™ program is taught through the schools patented home study course, allowing students to learn at their own pace.
